Italian American Playwrights Project Special Edition: Will Eno

Will Eno is a multi-award-winning author whose been translated throughout the world and one of the most represented contemporary American playwrights in Italy. The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Graziano Graziani and will be attended by Frank Hentscher, director of the Martin E. Segal Theater Center and co-curator with Valeria Orani (Umanism NYC and 369 degrees).



During the conversation, two excerpts from two different works by Will Eno will be presented in the form of readings: Francesco Mandelli will read a passage from "Properties and Atto" (original title "Title and Deed" - show in distribution produced by BAM / La Corte Ospitale for directed by Leonardo Lidi); Emanuela Ponzano and Stefano Patti will respectively read in Italian and English a short passage from "Tragedy: a tragedy" one of the texts not yet represented in Italy
